Obama Blamed For Gay Marriage Defeat

Video: Maine voters shot down gay marriage - KXAN.com

U.S. President Barack Obama has been blamed for the defeat of a gay marriage law in Maine. How you ask? Gay rights activists claim Obama, who recently signed legislation into law to protect homosexuals, didn't do enough. Are they serious.

One would think the currently prevailing liberal theme in political circles in Washington, would have helped, but the people, also known as the voters, have spoken and they do not want gay marriage.

U.S. President Barack Obama

The Judiciary Report is not in favor of gay marriage anywhere. Gay marriage is a bid at turning society upside down to suit someone's personal sexual choices. The Bible clearly notes marriage is between a man and a woman. Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Furthermore, why do gays want to marry each other. The rate of domestic violence, dysfunction, suicide and depression is highest in gay relationships.

Gay leaders blame TV ads, Obama for loss in Maine

SAN FRANCISCO — Stunned and angry, national gay rights leaders Wednesday blamed scare-mongering ads — and President Barack Obama's lack of engagement — for a bitter election setback in Maine that could alter the dynamics for both sides in the gay-marriage debate.

Conservatives, in contrast, celebrated Maine voters' rejection of a law that would have allowed gay couples to wed, depicting it as a warning shot that should deter politicians in other states from pushing for same-sex marriage.

"Every time the citizens have voted on marriage, they have always sided with natural marriage," said Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, a Florida-based Christian legal group. "Maine dramatically illustrates the will of the people, and politicians should wake up and listen."

Gay activists were frustrated that Obama, who insists he staunchly supports their overall civil rights agenda, didn't speak out forcefully in defense of Maine's marriage law before Tuesday's referendum. The law was repealed in a vote of 53 percent to 47 percent.

"President Obama missed an opportunity to state his position against these discriminatory attacks with the clarity and moral imperative that would have helped in this close fight," said Evan Wolfson of the national advocacy group Freedom to Marry. "The anti-gay forces are throwing millions of dollars into various unsubtle ads aimed at scaring people, so subtle statements from the White House are not enough."

The White House, asked about the criticism, had no immediate comment...

Judge Questionably Acquitted

The acquittal of former Judge Herman Thomas (Judge Had Sex With And Spanked Inmates) was not one without controversy, as it was quite questionable. Three jurors protested the votes rendered on their behalf are not the ones they submitted.

They informed the court they did not vote to acquit Thomas on all the charges he was prosecuted on, which means the trial was tainted. What happened between voting and the verdict being read.

Herman Thomas Case Over

Published: Thu, October 29, 2009 - MOBILE, Alabama - The dispute over the verdict in the Herman Thomas sex abuse trial is over.

Three jurors, who contacted District Attorney John Tyson one day after the verdict was announced, have now backed out of plans for a post-trial challenge.

One of the jurors told News Five he voted not guilty to just two charges, not the seven that were announced in court. Another juror said on the attempted sodomy charge there were eleven guilty votes and just one not guilty vote, and jurors were hopelessly deadlocked on the remaining charges. Special Judge Claud Neilson acquitted Thomas of the attempted sodomy charge along with 13 others after jurors failed to reach a unanimous decision.

Tyson was expected to file a motion Wednesday challenging the verdict, but late Wednesday afternoon he announced the three disgruntled jurors no longer wanted to be involved in the case....

Congress Passes Gay Rights Bill

Congress has passed a gay rights bill that, "Extends hate crime protections to gays." It also includes crimes, "Based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

Republicans were concerned and rightfully so, that said bill would attempt to regulate speech regarding gays and violate people's Constitutional right to freedom of religion and freedom of speech, as homosexuals have attempted to use existing legislation, to unlawfully silence those that peacefully disagree with their lifestyle choices.

It was stated, "At the urging of Republicans the bill was changed to strengthen free speech protections to assure that a religious leader or any other person cannot be prosecuted on the basis of his or her speech, beliefs or association."

Congress extends hate crime protections to gays

WASHINGTON — Physical attacks on people based on their sexual orientation will join the list of federal hate crimes in a major expansion of the civil rights-era law Congress approved Thursday and sent to President Barack Obama.

A priority of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., that had been on the congressional agenda for a decade, the measure expands current law to include crimes based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability. The measure is named for Matthew Shepard, the gay Wyoming college student murdered 11 years ago.

To assure its passage after years of frustrated efforts, Democratic supporters attached the measure to a must-pass $680 billion defense policy bill the Senate approved 68-29. The House passed the defense bill earlier this month.

Many Republicans, normally staunch supporters of defense bills, voted against the bill because of the hate crimes provision. All the no votes were Republicans except for Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., who supported the hate crimes provision but opposes what he says is the open-ended military commitment in Afghanistan.

"The inclusion of the controversial language of the hate crimes legislation, which is unrelated to our national defense, is deeply troubling," said Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala...

The FBI says more than half of reported hate crimes are motivated by racial bias. Next most frequent are crimes based on religious bias, at around 18 percent, and sexual orientation, at 16 percent.

At the urging of Republicans the bill was changed to strengthen free speech protections to assure that a religious leader or any other person cannot be prosecuted on the basis of his or her speech, beliefs or association.

"Nothing in this legislation diminishes an American's freedom of religion, freedom of speech or press or the freedom to assemble," said Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md. "Let me be clear. The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act targets acts, not speech."

That didn't convince Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., who said the bill was a "dangerous step" toward thought crimes. He asked whether the bill would "serve as a warning to people not to speak out too loudly about their religious views."

Tony Perkins, president of the conservative Family Research Council, said the measure was "part of a radical social agenda that could ultimately silence Christians and use the force of government to marginalize anyone whose faith is at odds with homosexuality."

The defense bill is H.R. 2647.

Judge Had Sex With And Spanked Inmates

Judge Herman Thomas

Another crooked judge is being put out to pasture. Judge Herman Thomas, has been removed from office and is facing prison, for exchanging judicial leniency for sexual favors.

The homosexual judge was sexually exploiting male inmates, engaging in sex acts and spanking them. He stands accused of, "Sodomy, kidnapping, sex abuse, extortion, assault and ethics violations." This alleged misconduct of a sexual nature, by Thomas and others such as Judge Kent, has brought shame on the Judiciary, rendering their rulings corrupt.

Former Court Hero on Trial for Bizarre Sex Charges

Oct. 7, 2009 - Former Alabama Circuit Court Judge Herman Thomas, accused of a plethora of shocking sex- and ethics-related crimes, will be on the other side of the bench on Monday.

The once highly regarded jurist – and a deft Democratic politician repeatedly elected in an Alabama county that was predominantly White and Republican – Thomas is now a disgraced shell of his former self, accused of sodomy, kidnapping, sex abuse, extortion, assault and ethics violations, AOL News reports.

Inmates say that over the past decade Thomas has tried to trade courtroom leniency for sex, that he has forced them to strip down to their underwear and spanked them, and that he forced them to perform sex acts...

Gays And Domestic Violence

Andrew Cowles and Stephen Gately were introduced to each other by homosexual singer Elton John (I'm sorry, but those flowers in that photo are all wrong!)

The recent death of homosexual boyband member, Stephen Gately, this month, who died suddenly of a heart attack at age 33, while on vacation, has vaulted the subject of domestic violence amongst gays, back into the spotlight.

Gately was “married” to Andrew Cowles, a physically, emotionally and mentally abusive gay man that beat him in public so severely, a photographer had to pull him off the Boyzone singer. Gately was punched and kicked in the head and torso repeatedly, which caused him to bleed profusely (this dude must be related to Chris Brown).

In 2006, Andrew Cowles (right) choked, kicked and punched Stephen Gately until he started bleeding profusely

The row was over his family, who refused to accept Cowles. The two men stepped outside the restaurant, where Cowles unleashed a furious physical attack on the small singer, who reportedly cried his eyes out. Who wouldn't.

After sleeping with another man and kicking Gately out of his own bedroom, not to mention viciously beating him, Cowles stands to inherit his fortune. He does not deserve the money, as he clearly treated Gately very badly.

Stephen Gately's funeral

Statistics show instances of domestic violence among gays, happen much more frequently than with heterosexual couples.

Gay marriage is not God's design. The Bible refers to marriage as a union between a man and woman and that is how God will always view it.

Due to this immovable fact, some gays in Britain and Europe have attempted to have sections of the Bible removed, altered and or labeled hate speech, which is a sin.

God states in the Bible, the Words in the Book are not to be altered. You are unlawfully infringing on others' universal rights to practice their religion in its truest, most authentic form.

Gay Boyband Member Found Dead

Andrew Cowles and Stephen Gately

Stephen Gately, a member of the boyband Boyzone, who came out of the closet and "married" a man recently, died at age 33, while vacationing in Europe with his "husband" Andrew Cowles.

The two men went out clubbing to what was described as a gay bar that is, "A sleazy rundown late-night bar with grimy walls" and returned to their apartment with a gay man, Georgi Dochev.

Andrew Cowles and Georgi Dochev spent the night together in the bedroom, while Gately slept on the sofa in his pajamas. I do not fathom how that could not be hurtful to him.

The Judiciary Report does not endorse "gay marriage" or "civil unions" but one has to wonder, as a human being, Gately could not have felt happy about being kicked out of his own bedroom, in an apartment he bought for $1.6 million dollars, so his so-called "husband" could sleep with another man.

Andrew Cowles

Gay always state they want equality - well, if a heterosexual couple went to a bar, the husband brought home a woman and made his wife sleep of the sofa, while he slept in the bed with this new woman, it would look very bad. It does not look good in a gay relationship either. Is this how Gately was treated all the time by his so-called spouse, as that would give most anyone a heart attack.

When Andrew Cowles and Georgi Dochev woke up at around 1PM according to the latter's admission, Gately was dead, cold, pale and lifeless.

It is being stated he died of natural causes, labeling it a heart attack of some sort. He had been drinking the night of his death, but it was not mentioned as the cause of death.

Gately's "civil union" is clearly not what one would call a merger of fidelity, but an open relationship, between two men that claimed to be married, but promiscuity is clearly involved. That is dangerous.

Georgi Dochev

His "civil union" with Andrew Cowles caused him to fall out with his family, who had not been speaking to him, only reconciling a year ago.

Homosexuality runs rampant in many boybands in the pop music genre. Homosexual managers and executives sometimes proposition young boyband members in their teens and turn them gay. Contrary to what is claimed by some, God did not make anyone gay, as it is a choice.

Gay men are often attracted to that segment of the industry, as it involves working with teenage boys, who are marketed as heartthrobs by record labels.

Boyzone Star Stephen Gately's Death

The Majorcan paper Ultima Hora said detectives believe all three returned to the couple's home in the upmarket resort of Andratx from the Black Cat gay club in the capital, Palma, at 4am.

But while Gately slept on the sofa, the other two spent the night in a bedroom together.

The paper said: 'What happened has not been established, but the investigators have learned that after a while Andy retired to the bedroom with the Bulgarian, while Stephen stayed in the lounge, sat on the sofa.

'And in the morning, the singer's husband and his "friend" got up late and at around 1pm they left the bedroom. 'It was the Eastern European who discovered Stephen was still sat there wearing his pyjamas and was very white and cold.'...

Investigators said the singer was discovered in a crouching position in his pajamas. One said: 'He was squatting down on the sofa almost in a praying position.'...

The nightclub the couple had been to on the night of the tragedy is a sleazy rundown late-night bar with grimy walls. One regular said: 'It's the last place you would expect to find a millionaire pop star.'

Obama, Congress And The Gay Rights Bill

Congressional Hate Crime Bill And Don't Ask Don't Tell

U.S. President Barack Obama

Congress is moving to pass a hate crime bill that would protect gays in America. However, the contents of the gay rights bill is causing much controversy among the American public, as is Obama's statements on "Don't Ask Don't Tell" regarding gays serving in the military.

There is an aspect of the bill that covers hate crimes of violence against gays. Any rational, civil person should not want violence against any member or segment of society.

However, I am not for regulating the public’s speech towards any group, save for death threats and threats of violence. Many have stated, the bill shall indeed do just that, providing jail time for those that make comments or jokes about gays that are deemed offensive.

I find this aspect of the bill ironic and unconstitutional, as the law of the land guarantees free speech. Not to mention, many gays in Hollywood are very abusive and disdainful of straight people, especially Christians, characterizing us in the worst terms possible for their own amusement. This is an undeniable fact.

During a commercial, I saw a clip of the show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" and the bleach blonde, homosexual reality TV star stated with a look of total disdain and repulsion, the most offensive, crude, crass statement about a heterosexual male’s sofa being “caked" in vagina hair (and that's the clean version of what he said).

I found his statement vulgar and vile, yet because he is gay, in Hollywood, it was somehow deemed acceptable speech for basic cable television. Well, it wasn't, but the Constitution protects it. Which brings me to my point, once again, FREE SPEECH.

However, had a straight woman said the same thing about a gay man and his homosexual partner and their sofa, with the same look of complete disgust on her face as the aforementioned did, gays would have been screaming for her head and complaining in the press. It would have been labeled hate speech.

Then, there was the incident with gay designer Issac Mizrahi mockingly groping the breasts of actress Scarlett Johanssen at an awards show, aired during family viewing hours. If a straight woman had done that to a gay man, while mocking his manhood, homosexuals would have complained and labeled it a hate crime.

There’s a blatant double standard. Hollywood is particularly nasty, vile and vindictive towards Christians, as the Bible peacefully states, homosexuality is a sin that a person must repent of to gain God's forgiveness.

As a Christian, I have experienced this first hand, where mean, hateful homosexuals in Hollywood commissioned all sorts of sick, depraved conduct against me, when I hadn’t done anything to them. They attacked me for simply existing. That's the kind of hatred they are working under.

Unprovoked, they did the most evil, unconscionable, inhumane things, when I did nothing to them and do not know them from Adam.

How do you justify commissioning harassment, assault, burglaries, criminal invasion of privacy, stalking and outright grand theft larceny against an innocent person, while screaming to the world that you are victims of society as gays. It looks hypocritical and bad. Very, very bad.

Human rights is not a one way street. It’s a message many gays in Hollywood refuse to learn and they are the disgraceful, abusive spokespeople for the gay movement.

Because you are gay and deem yourself a victim that is discriminated against, does not give you the right to harass, antagonize, bully, rob and destroy other people. There is no justification for such inexcusable conduct.

Congress acts to extend hate crimes to cover gays

Oct 8, 5:33 PM (ET) WASHINGTON (AP) - The House voted Thursday to make it a federal crime to assault people because of their sexual orientation, significantly expanding the hate crimes law enacted in the days after Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in 1968.

With expected passage by the Senate, federal prosecutors will for the first time be able to intervene in cases of violence perpetrated against gays.

Civil rights groups and their Democratic allies have been trying for more than a decade to broaden the reach of hate crimes law. This time it appears they will succeed. The measure is attached to a must-pass $680 billion defense policy bill and President Barack Obama - unlike President George W. Bush - is a strong supporter. The House passed the defense bill 281-146, with 15 Democrats and 131 Republicans in opposition.

"It's a very exciting day for us here in the Capitol," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., saying hate crimes legislation was on her agenda when she first entered Congress 22 years ago...

The late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., was a longtime advocate of the legislation.

Many Republicans, normally stalwart supporters of defense bills, voted against it because of the addition of what they referred to as "thought crimes" legislation.

"This is radical social policy that is being put on the defense authorization bill, on the backs of our soldiers, because they probably can't pass it on its own," House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio said.

GOP opponents were not assuaged by late changes in the bill to strengthen protections for religious speech and association - critics argued that pastors expressing beliefs about homosexuality could be prosecuted if their sermons were connected to later acts of violence against gays...

The defense bill is H.R. 2647.
